Vintage midcentury Britains Ltd toy lion, a detailed plastic lion in walking pose with one front leg raised and open red mouth in a snarl.
Britains Ltd originally made lead toys but eventually switched over to plastic around the 1950s/60s. The pieces retained much of their original detail and careful painting.
