Breyer Palomino Quarter Horse Yearling with Leather Western Saddle and Halter with Lead Rope
Vintage leather Breyer saddle and halter with lead rope on a Breyer Quarter Horse Yearling in sandy tan with four socks and wide stripe. This set did not come with a saddle pad but the saddle has a foam lining.
The saddle is called the "Western all around saddle". The halter is from the Western All Around tack set.
Model #102 (horse), #2355 (saddle), #3915 (halter)
Produced: 1970-1980 (horse), 1979-1986 (saddle), 1977-1980 (halter)
Size: Horse about 8” tall.
The leather saddle is in good condition except for missing part of one cinch (the part that clasps under the belly). The saddle originally had two but now only one cinch with buckle remains in the front. The saddle sits pretty well on the horse's back either buckled or not. The halter is in good condition for its age except one cheek strap has come undone at the back of the cheek (the halter still functions as the strap tucks against the horse's cheek, and the unglued strap makes it easier to remove, but I'd recommend repairing with a bit of model glue if you intend to remove it).
The horse is in good functional condition with overall assorted rubs.
